LOL Pro Light Engine

World's most advanced Augmented Reality LASER display projection system.

As small as possible.

LOL Pro light engine is lesser than 1.6 cc that delivers one of the widest diagonal FOV of 60 degree. Allowing AR glass developers to build the device of the future made for everyday usage.

Resolution like no other.

LOL Pro using its integrated special technology is capable of delivering Full high definition (FHD – 1080P) and Ultra high definition ( UHD – 4K) enabling near and retinal resolution pixels per degree (PPD).

Why choose LASER over other display projection technologies for AR?

Laser Brightness.
Due to Coherent nature of the LASERs, the projection brightness increases as more light is in controllable format. This makes it a better choice to be used with NED Waveguides.
Colour Space.
LOL Pro combines LASER's to provide wider colour space offering a more extensive range of colours.
Life Span.
LOL Pro uses LASER's that have a much higher lifespan than LED display technologies.
Display Efficiency.
Using Lasers with reflective display technology provide us with a much efficient system as the light is narrower than the LED's.
Size to Performance Ratio.
Using LASER's allows us to develop a much compact light engine for AR Glasses without loosing much of the performance unlike other display engine technologies.

Made for Waveguide Technologies

LOL Pro light engine architecture is made to work with waveguide technologies that are used in various NED ( Near eye display ) systems.

For Diffractive Waveguides

The standard LOL Pro light engine is made to work with only diffractive waveguides of specific technical requirements. But the light engine can support various other diffractive waveguide with different performance specifications.

For Reflective Waveguides

LOL Pro engine has the capability to work with reflective waveguides under certain customization requirements but that may which also alter the performance specifications.

Recommendation

Focally recommends customers to use recommended waveguides to match the standard projector requirements, as the standard projector is more optimized compared to other possible specifications.

LOL Pro produces widest colour gamut.

LOL Pro uses LASER as its light source to produce colours hence producing widest colour gamut delivering the most vibrant virtual colour elements  making your AR world life-like realistic.

Eye Prescription Form.

How to read your prescription form?

Sphere (SPH) - also known as Power (PWR)

They mean the same thing: the strength of your prescription. If you're nearsighted you will have a minus (-) before your values, and if you’re or farsighted you will have a plus (+).

Cylinder (CYL)

This is for people with astigmatism. This is when one part of the eye needs more correction than the rest. The Cylinder value is written with a minus (-) sign.

AXIS

This is only for people with astigmatism. The axis is a number between 0 and 180 and determines the orientation of the Cylinder (CYL).

Additional Power (AP)

This mainly applies if you have Progressive or Bifocal power. This mainly specifies the near spherical power or for presbyopia. Incase you want only near power, you can fill in AP value as per your prescribed details.

PD ( Pupillary Distance)

If you have only one PD value above 50, then please divide that by 2 & fill in both

eyes equally. For example for 64 PD value, Fill it with 32 and 32 for Right and Left.

In case doctor has specified these separately for each eye, you can fill them separately.

Reference Sample for filling the prescription form.

You can leave the input box empty if you don’t have them in your vision correction details.
